Disc Cricket Official Rules
Three discs. Seven distances. Close the board.
Disc Cricket is a portable disc golf putting game built around cricket-style scoring. Players throw three discs per turn, close official distances, score points, and compete head-to-head, in events, or through verified global leaderboard play.
Chains Reference
Hit the Chains. Close the Distance.
Disc Cricket keeps the classic board-game feel of slash, X, and circled-X scoring, but the action happens at the basket. A made putt is the sound every player is chasing: the disc catching chains and finishing in the basket.
Amateur Division
15 • 20 • 25 • 30 • 35 • 40 • 50 ft
The Amateur board starts at 15 feet and finishes at 50 feet. This is the recommended format for new players, public events, online challenges, and casual prize play.
Pro Division
20 • 25 • 30 • 35 • 40 • 50 • 55 ft
The Pro board starts at 20 feet and finishes at 55 feet. This format is built for advanced players, elite match play, finals, and official Pro leaderboard events.
How to Play
Place one portable disc golf basket and mark the official tee distances for the selected division.
Each player throws three discs before retrieving. Players may choose strategic distances during the match.
A distance is closed after a player makes three total putts from that distance.
After closing a distance, extra makes from that distance score points until the opponent also closes it.
A player wins by closing all selected distances and having equal or greater points than the opponent.

Point System
Points equal the distance value. A scoring putt from 30 feet is worth 30 points. A scoring putt from 50 feet is worth 50 points.
A player may only score on a distance after closing it, and only until the opponent closes that same distance.
Official Match Format
Player versus player using the standard closing and scoring rules.
Two-player teams. Teammates alternate turns using the same board and scoring format.
Best two out of three rounds.
Use sudden death from the longest division distance when needed.
Global Prize & Leaderboard Verification
For official online prize play and leaderboard eligibility, the round should be recorded clearly. The video should show the basket, distance markers, player throws, and the full scoring sequence.
Official Verification Policy
Continuous Authentic Video Required
All prize-pool and leaderboard-eligible Disc Cricket rounds must be recorded as one continuous, unedited video. The recording must show the real player, real throws, real basket, real tee markers, and verifiable disc results.
- Any start/stop cuts during the round
- Any edited sequence that breaks round continuity
- Any AI-generated scene, AI-enhanced scene, or synthetic replacement footage
- Any inserted replay, transition, overlay, or altered throwing/result footage
- Any video where the basket, tee line, player, or disc result is not reasonably verifiable
- Any video that appears manipulated, staged, spliced, or artificially generated
If the video is not continuous and authentic, the score is disqualified immediately.
